Your kidneys are the janitors of your own body. These god-given filters have the job to filter the waste from your body and accumulate them for a proper flushing later that day, or early in the morning! However, at times, a lot of that dirt is not filtered our properly, it accumulated and eventually becomes a hardened crystal of uric acid, calcium oxalate and a whole gamut of other substances that include salt and sedimentation.

What are kidney stones?

Kidney Stones are basically sedimentation of salt, uric acid, calcium oxalate, and other stuff that is not filtered out from the body. When enough of the dirt is accumulated, this mass becomes hardened like a crystal. This crystal or a kidney stone is formed inside the bladder and can grow up to the size of a golf ball.
